1 C scald milk
2 pkg. Yeast
1 C flour
1/2 C sugar
1 C soft margarine
2 eggs
1 t salt
2 t almond extract
3 C flour
1/4 C powdered sugar
2 T margarine
3/4 C Raisins
Scald and cool milk. Add yeast till soft 5-10 min. stir and blend well. Stir in 1 c flour cover put in warm oven and let set for 30 min. or till bubbly. In a big bowl mix sugar, margarine beat in 2 eggs. Stir in salt, almond extract. Beat into other mixture. Gradually beat in 3 c flour add raisins. Let rise till double about 2 hours. Pour onto pastry cloth. Kneed until smooth cut in half put into greased pans. Milt 2 T margarine and spread on top. Mix 1/4 c powdered sugar 1/4 c flour and 2 T margarine. Spead on top place back in warm oven for 1/2 hour to let rise. Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour. Cool on wire rack.
