    • Service all heating systems and all gas-, oil- or coal-burning appliances by a technician annually.

  • Fire destroys clubhouse at Western Golf & Country Club in Redford
    Posted On: Jun 11, 2018

    - Crews battled a massive fire in Redford Township Friday morning.

A fire broke out at the Western Golf and Country Club just before 5:30 a.m. The club is on Kinloch, near Beech Daly and Five Mile Road.

The smoke can be seen for miles, with the flames pouring through the roof

It's not known right now what caused the fire, which is in the club house. The website says the club house has been around since 1926.

The website says the club is known for its 18 hold golf course, for its swimming programs and four outdoor tennis courts.

Firefighters from Redford, Dearborn Heights and Livonia were at the scene.

    No injuries have been reported.
